Dearest Supporters
of Imagination Library,

We are the local funding sponsor for the DOLLY PARTON IMAGINATION LIBRARY. Through this program, approximately 1,300 Dodge and Washington County children from birth to 5 receive a FREE book MONTHLY in the mail. When books are made available for parents to regularly read to their children during these most impressionable years, children are more likely to meet developmental, social-emotional and literacy milestones and be ready to learn in kindergarten.

The Fremont Area United Way is highly invested in improving literacy in our community. We've all seen the facts proving that children with higher reading scores are more likely to succeed in school and life. We know that children living in at-risk households are more likely to fall behind, especially if they do not have books readily available.

We are so fortunate to have caring individuals and businesses in our community who recognize that a good education and reading literacy are building blocks to a better life and a better community for us all.

SINCERELY YOURS,
Fremont Area United Way
